Which brings up our second phenomena, social media

 

Since the inception of the Internet over 20 years ago, everybody has now surfed the net to find the next hot social networking site across the world and in most cases opened up an account on the many choices that

are available. Furthermore, the valuation of these sites is frankly unbelievably staggering.

 

Facebook has been quoted to have a monetary valuation of anywhere from 80 to 230 billion dollars. Unbelievable! The numbers are staggering and they will continue to rise. High School Icon will take

advantage of this billion-dollar industry through every teenager from 13 to 18 and beyond, and generate

one of the largest social networking databases in the world for high school students. Our goal is for every

high school contestant, student voter, and viewer to register and log in to w​ww.highschoolicon.com in order to participate.

 

We believe we have all the resources and pieces of the puzzle to build one of the world’s premier social networking sites for young adults.

Mission

High School Icon will be one of the nation’s premier television shows and social networks set up exclusively for high school students from high schools from all over the country and all over the world. The

focus is not only on the musical talent of each student, but academics will also play a key role in the participation of this magna-oriented production and social network.

The social network will consist of thousands of high school students uploading their content to

our website/phone application from different cities throughout the country and internationally.

The goal is to encourage as many students as possible to participate in this musical/academic production and to syndicate this production nationwide by 2016/2017.

 

To begin the process, each Student will have to register at w​ww.highschoolicon.com o​r our phone application. Over the past several years, America has witnessed a phenomena in music, social media and the usage of cellular phones, iPads, phone apps and texting (sms), like never before. The value

of this content is unimaginable. Therefore, these several categories have contributed to billions and billions of dollars in revenue being made by recent entities from around the world.

 

However, the average age of each contestant in American Idol and the Voice is 19 years old, which leaves a huge gap for the teens and the millennial generation segment to capitalize on. High School Icon will do for students in today’s high schools what American Idol & The Voice do for young adults

in their 20’s, but so much more!

 

What if each and every contestant from American Idol not only had the television audience and family and friends voting for them, but they had all of their classmates from their entire high school student body! Say roughly 2000 high school students per high school and multiply that by 1000’s of high schools nationwide and you’re generating millions of dollars on voting through text messaging alone! The numbers are staggering and that’s exactly what we plan to do.!

That brings us to our third and final

category – music and education.

In a world that is constantly changing, young adults today see the world from a totally different perspective. Thirty and forty years

ago our mothers and fathers all wanted us to grow up to become doctors and lawyers and teachers or even become  astronauts.

But in today’s millennial generation, that has  all changed. Entertainment is one of the driving forces of today’s youth. The aspirations of becoming singers, actors, producers, songwriters, and so much more are very difficult to deny. We like to use the terminology of the millennial generation. Some of today’s brightest young adults have favorite musical icons such as, Ariana Grande, Justin Beiber, Beyonce, Selena Gomez , Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Maroon 5, Chris Brown and the list goes on and on and on. However, most people probably have no idea who any of these people are, but our children surely know.

 

Let’s face it, we can not stop today’s youth from their dreams and aspirations, however we can make a positive impact by helping them believe in themselves and assist them to accomplish everything in life they set out to do.

 

That’s why High School Icon will play a pinnacle role with today’s teens to stay in school, get their education, good grades and

maybe one day, they too can become a High School Icon!

 

We will use a combination of in-house and outsourced marketing. We will outsource the development of basic marketing tools such as the High School Icon to a web site design agency. However, maintenance of the web-properties will be done in-house. Furthermore, interactive Internet and mobile applications and advertising campaigns will be created and managed in-house. Finally, the promotions, publicity, advertising, media mix, and

brand development segments of our marketing strategy will be outsourced to a public relations agency.

High School Icon will play a pinnacle role

with today’s teens to stay in school, get their education, good grades and maybe one day, they too can become a High School Icon!
